Love the show and have since first season, first episode. Tonight I just saw season 4, episode 4. Gotta know the artist doing the song at the close of the show. I think it’s a cover of a tune by the band Massive Attack. Suggestions are welcome–loved the newer version of the song. –G

just listen to Jose Gonzalez – Teardrop, i dont think its the song whose played at the end of each episode :(
when i talked about the end song, i meant the song where there is the credits for the show.

    hi there, any news ?

Shadow and all – The theme music for the show is performed by a Texas band out of Austin, called “Explosions In The Sky.” Their music is primarily instrumental rock. Atmospheric. Emotional. Intense. Great.

The FNL movie soundtrack is a good place to start for the theme music and as an introduction to the band (EITS). Then listen to their first two cd’s: “Those Who Tell The Truth Shall Die, Those Who Tell The Truth Shall Live Forever” and “The Earth Is Not A Cold Dead Place.” This is music that directly communicates with your human/spiritual soul. –G

sorry but i already know all of that.
the point is, this year, the end song at the end of each episode (when the credits rolls out) is different from last year.
I was just trying to know which song is it.

The song that plays at the end when Coach and wife are on the couch is either mislabeled or a complete revision. Its listed at “what you hide” by am but when you look up that song its completely different. Any ideas?

what is the song that plays in the final two scenes of season 4 episode 2? Everyone seems to think that it is that song by AM, but I have searched around and they are two completely different songs…

I just updated the music, so hopefully that helps!

The AM song is still listed but that is definitely not what is playing in the last scenes. I’ve googled the lyrics (the ones I could hear) and still can’t find it.

I’ve looked around at the usual places where we find the music for each episode and they don’t have anything else listed. Keep us posted!

Yeah…i have been looking around every few days and still can’t figure out who it is. I read somewhere that NBC changes some of the music in the series when they air it. I have a feeling that this accounts for the confusion. I have even tried to get in touch with the Music Supervisor, Liza Richardson via KCRW and haven’t had any luck. The search continues… : )

The website http://tvshowmusic.com/shows/fridaynightlights.html , makes some mistakes , we should be careful ! For example the music “Inside It All Feels The Same” is not played in this episode.
