In the aftermath of the tough finish to the premiere, we dive deeper into the world of East Dillon. Go past the jump for a quick recap and some thoughts on what transpired.
Well, I think a lot of us misread how the forfeit would be interpreted. Sure, no one seemed happy when they left the field, but did anyone anticipate a full team walkout? They were truly the walking wounded. But evidently they felt like they were quit on by Coach Taylor, which led to the great Lion rebellion. Even Landry turned!
But there were really three big prongs to this episode: Luke and that lying, cheating mailbox, the ongoing Tami Taylor-Joe McCoy chess match, and of course Coach Taylor trying to figure out how he’d field a team.
