That Connie Britton and Aimee Teegarden filmed some scenes for the best show on TV, “Friday Night Lights,” in Cambridge and Boston. The plot revolves around Julie Taylor and her mom, Tami’s, college road trip to Harvard and Boston College . “The coach’s daughter comes to look at elite schools in the East,” said BC spokesman Jack Dunn . “BC was chosen for its beauty and academic reputation.” Because Harvard does not allow filming on campus, those scenes were shot in Harvard Square.
