Great podcast guys. You all should hook up and do these joint podcasts more often. It helps giving the audience both male and female perspectives to what is going on. Perhaps you can do another for or after the season finale. Anyways take care and Happy New Year!! Look forward to what you guys do next.

Great podcast. One of the guys (Blake?) sounds like Matt Saracen when he talks. Here are my character resolutions for the New Year:

Coach: Lighten up. Smile a little more. You’ll live longer, plus you’re so cute when you smile.

Tami: Help PEOPLE more. You’re SO good at it. Plan a romantic getaway with Coach. Y’all need one after this season.

Tim: Continue to keep it zipped. Stay away from Becky. Expand your horizons. And lastly, Tater me, but save some for Skeeter!

Julie: It’s time to grow up, try acting like a senior. You will be graduating! Don’t go running back to Matt when you finally hear from him.

Matt: Keep moving on. Love you, but it’s time to go.

Buddy Garrity: Run for mayor! And win! Coach needs a friend in high places.

Landry: Time out! Stop chasing women! It’s embarrassing to watch. Start playing out more with your band.

Jess: Don’t pick Landry! And don’t pick Vince, either. Try out to be the Lions’ place kicker; be the first girl on the team. Landry won’t mind. (I wrote out this list before your podcast!)

Luke: Lay a trap for the cattle rustlers. (Find out that J.D. was the ringleader. Isn’t death the penalty for cattle thieves? hehehe) Become the star of the team and the town.

Vince: Same as Coach. Lighten up. Smile a little more. Stay out of jail.

Becky: Shut up. Just shut your pie hole.

Tinker: Sit on J.D. McCoy when you sack him in the Panthers/Lions game. You would be my hero!

J.D.: Just go away with your tail between your legs. Preferably after a smack down.

Joe McCoy: Just go away with J.D. so that Dillon could be a happier place.

Calvin: Same as Coach and Vince. And lose the chains.

    John, glad you liked it!

Dolphin, love the idea of a getaway for Tami and Coach and I agree about Julie…finally time to grow up.

John, thanks for being such a loyal listener!

Dolphin, excellent resolutions! I’m glad we’re on the same page with Tami helping people and not being just an administrator! I also really like the idea of Buddy Garrity getting a real storyline!

    Best,
    Kaitlin

I agree w/ Jess. I REALLY like Jurnee & I have been following her career since FULL HOUSE. After seeing what she could do outside of being a cute face on tv in Eve’s Bayou I knew then she was gonna be something special. I want her to get more screen time & they gotta do more with/for her character. Her & Michael are the ONLY reason I started watching this show.

I was suprised that they made Vince “soft”. I figured he was gonna be a bad ass or hard headed & be some REAL trouble. I am glad that he is distancing himself from Calvin though. I can’t get enough of that boy. I loved him on THE WIRE. He was the only reason I started watching the show since I saw him in HARDBALL. Can’t wait til Jan 6.

Really enjoyed this podcast and Amy, I totally agree that Riggins should have his shirt off more too! Wouldn’t that scene with Skeeter, the dog been so much better with him shirtless??!! Yes, I am a Riggins fangirl. I also agree that they need to give him a meatier storyline especially if this is indeed his last season (boo hoo!). Holding out hope that he gets a better one the second half of the season.

LOL I just wanted to make the comment that, in response to a comment one of the guys made about the actor babies who play Gracie Taylor (I’ve heard they are triplets and I admit I laughed) …

that after seeing the posted screen caps posted on this site for Toilet Bowl, it appears the little actress is showing us her chops. Case in point, the picture where Gracie is feeding Coach while eating with some of the E. Dillon Boosters. :)
