Could This Be Baby Riggins?

Hmmm…FNL needed a baby for the season 4 finale…looks like Mindy is on bed rest for the duration of season 4! I hope we see Tim do some babysitting, can’t you just see him pushing a stroller with a can of beer in the bottle holder?

Frisco native Kevin Verde may be able to give up his day job as chief information officer for Jason’s Deli restaurants now that his 2-month-old son is on Friday Night Lights. In November, Kevin’s wife, Jen, gave birth to Luca. The couple promptly took him to a photo studio for a portrait. Two weeks later, the photographer got a call from the Friday Night Lights casting director, who needed a newborn for the season finale.

Luca got the gig. Director Michael Waxman dubbed him a “one-take wonder,” who was both fussy and reserved on cue. There is a chance that Luca might be brought back for Season 5, in which case he’ll need his SAG card.
