Great podcast, ladies.
Just can’t see the Lions beating the Panthers without Luke.
One thing that gives me hope, though, is that the Lions could beat the Panthers to make it more believable for a Lion run at state next year.
“Keep your guard up. Stay angry.”
I always look forward to your podcast! It’s funny, as I watch the show each week, I always think, “I wonder what Kaitlin and Amy are going to say about that?!” And like you guys did, I cringed when Becky said I love you to Tim. That story line is so played out! Tim does need to find a new family!
I think the writers are bringing us down this season, only to bring us back up for season 5 which possibly could be the last. Really, we have no where to go but up (hopefully).
Anyway, thanks for doing these – I always like to hear other peoples’ insights! Can’t wait for next week.
One more thing. Do you guys think you could get your hands on an East Dillion t-shirt for a give-a-way?? I’m so in if you do!
When I met FNL director Michael Waxman in Boston he had a sick East Dillon hat on that I wanted to steal very badly. Maybe we’ll see some good memorabilia when we go to Beyond the Lights in May! We’ll keep you posted.
Wow. Another heavy duty episode where none of the plot lines are moving towards resolution except for the Riggins brothers. It feels like a huge build up for the finale. I don’t know about you … but in the words of Coach Taylor, we need “something” … anything … good to happen.
I’m not greedy. Not everyone has to end up happy this season. Just someone.
Coach, Tami, Vince, Luke, Tim, Landry (may or may not know it, yet), Becky, Jess, Julie, Matt, Billy … are all barely treading water. Someone needs to throw someone a lifeline. There needs to be some glimmer of hope to end up this dim, grim season. I don’t think I will be at all satisfied with a grim cliffhanger sans some glimmer of hope.
And yet, I trust the writers.
I agree with Dolphin here, I really hope there’s at least one happy ending in the finale, I’m guessing it will be the Lions over the Panthers. We go through all this bad stuff all season, but in the end, the Lions prevail.
I was totally thinking the same thing with Tim and Becky, “say ‘like a brother’ or something cmon!”
I have a feeling the trucks were actually Wayde Aikman, JD’s Dad, and crew since Wayde said something like “I will punish any players even suspend them from playing the game” seemed like he was all too sure it wasn’t his players and wouldn’t have to suspend anyone.
Glad Vince didn’t go through with his plan, but I hope he’s safe from what’s his face.
Coach and Tami’s predicaments got me heated, I hate JD’s dad sooo much, his stupid grin on his face the entire time he’s f*cking over Coach and the Lions. and Wayde his cronie. I hope Tami takes a stand for what’s right instead of succumbing, and I hope Coach has something up his sleeve to defeat the Panthers on their own field.
Kyle, I agree with you on D.W. Moffett (Joe McCoy). He’s got THE best smirk in the business.
I also wondered if Mac could possibly turn on the Panthers. (The look on his face during that heated meeting looked as disgusted as the one on Eric’s.)
