Sporting News’ First Cuts Review of 4.12 Laboring

Posted by Kaitlin with 1 Comment

Happiness on Friday Night Lights often seems like it’s fleeting – or at least relative – so it should’ve been no great surprise that things went down the way they did at the close of the episode.

Riggins talking about how happy he was felt like something akin to Bodie’s long speech to McNulty on The Wire. You just knew, with this little time remaining on the season, that shoe had to drop at some point. Of course it would drop within days/hours of the birth of Billy Riggins’ kid.

I’m no legal expert, so I’ve got no idea what running a chop shop gets the Riggins boys, should this whole thing stick. Maybe they give up Calvin’s boss and get some leniency?
