Amy, I BUSTED out laughing when you put together why this ep is called ‘Swerve.’ Classic!!! Bravo!!!
And yes, Kaitlin. Kyle was looking especially good in this ep. He spent some time in civilian clothes, he spent more time in his game clothes (vs. shorts and cap w/sunglasses over the visor even when he’s inside … I’m not a fan of that look), and his hair is longer on top. LOL My observations.
I was also not a fan of Tami (other than she lost her daughter and feels she is going to lose her again). Coach may have lost control and manhandled Julie to get her out of a house that is no longer hers … but at least he didn’t slap her like Tami once did. Coach is right, about Julie (for once) in that she needs a swift kick the arse.
After a slow start to the final season, this is two, solid back to back eps that I loved!!! I’d give this one a 9.0. Both are Emmy worthy (especially for Kyle and the guy who plays Vince’s father). Instead of watching Coach kick Derrick’s arse, we had to watch Vince’s Dad pummel Kennard’s. (I’d have rather seen Coack kick Derrick’s). Maybe Tami will do the honors.
Next week’s promo looks really promising, too.
