WTAM Talks to Michael B. Jordan at the Emmys

Posted by Kaitlin with No Comments

Not every actor has the opportunity to star on three Emmy-nominated television shows, pal around Europe with Ne-Yo and Method Man while working on a George Lucas Film, and start his own production company, all before the age of 23. But for Michael B. Jordan this is the fortuitous turn his career has taken.

The current star of NBC’s “Friday Night Lights” let iheartradio tag-along with him as he attended his first Primetime Emmy® Awards after party. IT was a gown befitting a princess. Designed by Zuhair Murad, the glittery dress had a constellation of black-and-white sequined flowers on the bodice and a fountain of tulle and sparkles that sprouted from Connie Britton’s trim waist and spilled dramatically to the floor.

When a reporter asked Ms. Britton, the “Friday Nights Lights” actress, if she indeed felt like a princess, she swung around and smiled widely. “I do!” she said, and raised the frothy skirt over her head before faux-fainting on the couch in a heap of giggles.

But there were practical matters to consider. “Just sitting on that couch,” she said, “I would have to take up two seats.”

It was a week and a half before the Emmys (the ceremony is tonight), and Ms. Britton, surrounded by a glamorous collection of gowns, was trying on red-carpet dresses in the Hollywood Hills home of her stylist, Jessica Paster.
