ABC Family Picks Up Grey Damon’s “Nine Lives of Chloe King”

The Nine Lives of Chloe King — based on the novel of the same name by Celia Thomson — follows Chloe (Skyler Samuels) as she develops abilities and finds out that a mysterious figure is pursuing her. Chloe learns that she’s part of an ancient race that has been hunted by assassins for millennia.

Dan Berendsen, Ziffren serve as executive producers with Alloy Entertainment’s Leslie Morgenstein and Gina Girolamo. Grey Damon, Grace Phipps, Benjamin Stone, Alyssa Diaz and Ki Hong Lee co-star.

E! Introduces Us to FNL’s Grey Damon

True Blood is back tonight! OK, not really, but another show that has so much in common with HBO’s vamp series (hotties, panthers and a certain ridonkulously good-looking quarterback) is kicking off its giddy-good final season: Friday Night Lights on DirecTV’s 101 Network. When you see the new QB, Grey Damon, you’re gonna fall. Hard. So we tackled him to get a closer look…

Since screening the premiere episode of season five of Friday Night Lights, we can’t help but think that you will be the new face on TV to watch! How did you get into acting?
Grey Damon: My ma and pa are both very artistic, so I suppose it’s in my blood. But my ma’s the one who was into theater and such. I owe my love of it to her. If she didn’t drag me to small community workshops when I was a wee little lad or exposed me to anything artistic for that matter, I wouldn’t be who I am today. So my mother definitely plays a major part.

New E! Spoiler Chat on Episode 5.01 “Expectations”

I’ll take FNL FTW! The final season of Friday Night Lights starts this Wednesday on DirecTV and is not to be missed. I know. You are so shocked that his quality show is, like, quality! But true story: I loved the season premiere. Tami reunites with her hubby at his school, Julie has all grown-up girl stuff going on (moving away to college), and the new QB Grey Damon (who was also the new quarterback on True Blood last season—but this time isn’t hooked on “V”) is totally drool-worthy. Plus, I’ve heard a thing or two about how the series wraps up, and at least one storyline is so giddy-good just the mention of it brought tears to my eyes. Either I’m that pathetic (don’t answer) or it will be that good.
