Ology Interview: ‘Friday Night Lights’ Star Michael B. Jordan Opens Up About Series Finale
Posted by Amy with 1 Comment
Hey Michael! How are you? Where are you right now?
I’m in the Los Angeles area getting into some damn traffic on the 101 right now.
Ouch. Be careful! So let's talk FNL! Tell me about your last day on set. Were there tears?
I cried like a little baby. I was a little choked up. It was, you know…have you seen the last episode?
Oh yeah, I saw it a while ago. I’m obsessed with the show.
Yeah, I just never know. Some of the people I’ve been talking to, they’ve purposely not watched it on DirectTV and wanted to pace it out and watch it as it airs on NBC, so I don’t want to spoil anything.

Posted by Kaitlin with 1 Comment
Sci-fi thriller “Chronicle” has apparently completed casting on its trio of leads, as Varietyreports that relatively unknown young actorsMichael B. Jordan and Alex Russell have joinedDane DeHaan in the Fox project.
The story centers around three Portland teenagers who are exposed to a mysterious substance in the woods and subsequently develop superpowers. They begin to work together to hone their new skills but soon find themselves turning on each other. Though Variety doesn’t specify, presumably DeHaan, Jordan and Russell will play the teenagers. Fox bought theMax Landis script last August and Josh Trank, who will be making his directorial debut, will shoot the film documentary style in the vein of “Paranormal Activity” or “Cloverfield”.

WTAM Chats with Michael B. Jordan About FNL and Parenthood
Posted by Kaitlin with No Comments
For a 24-year-old, Michael B. Jordan has quite the resume. He plays the crucial role of bad-boy-turned-good Vince Howard on the critically acclaimed Friday Night Lights, recently joined the cast of the NBC hit Parenthood, and is about to take on the big screen alongside some of Hollywood’s greats.
With the final season of FNL premiering Friday night on NBC, Michael took some time to talk to iheartradio about the show’s end, and what the future has in store.
IHR: It’s the final season of Friday Night Lights. What’s in store for Vince and the rest of the East Dillon Lions?
Michael: Without giving away too much, Vince is going strong with the team, he and coach have a great relationship, he and Jess are going strong. They’re happy, they’re fun. Vince is in a good place mentally, his mom is doing well. She’s not dealing with the drug stuff anymore, so that’s great. Vince is maturing into one of the top high school quarterbacks in the country, and he’s getting a lot of attention from colleges, but there’s a nice little roller coaster ride for him this season. He has ups and some downs, and he lets some stuff go to his head. His father comes back into the picture — and that’s crucial. Vince is all about choices. He’s constantly at a place where he’s making decisions that are good and bad, right and wrong, and that’s the reality for a lot of kids in his position throughout the country. So, I think this season was pretty good.

Daemon’s TV Interviews Michael B. Jordan

From the time he was Wallace on The Wire, Michael B. Jordan has captured viewers’ attention with his talent and charisma and he currently lights up the screen playing two complex, dynamic characters on powerful NBC dramas. On FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS, he’s Vince the talented but troubled star quarterback who struggles to make the right choices. On PARENTHOOD, he’s the earnest Alex, who has dealt with his own share of problems and is building a better life for himself while sweetly romancing Haddie.
Daemon’s TV talked to Michael about his two roles, what those of us without DirecTV can expect to see in the final season of Friday Night Lights, and about his film ‘Red Tails.’
DirecTV users have already seen the end of the ‘Friday Night Lights’ series. But those of us stuck with cable like me -
Michael B. Jordan: I know you guys have to wait until April, I’m sorry. It’s so hard for you guys to have conversations with people who have actually seen it already and the spoiler alerts are all around.
