Get your game face on for the return of this critically adored, but largely ignored, small-town football drama. The fourth season brings some major changes for Coach Eric Taylor (Kyle Chandler), who was rudely ousted from his post at Dillon High School. Now he must pick himself up and start a new program from scratch at a crosstown campus. Meanwhile, his wife Tami (Connie Britton) remains as principal at Dillon, where she struggles to find a way to work with the people who back-stabbed her man. Talk about divided loyalties.

‘Season Premiere’: Coach struggles to pull together his new team – the East Dillon Lions; Tami navigates the politics at West Dillon; Matt gets a taste of life as a townie; Tim is inspired by a college lecture on “the hero’s journey’.

“This season opener is practically a pilot in itself. It puts Coach Taylor at the center of the action in a new school, with a new team, and many new challenges,” said executive producer Jason Katims. “In addition to the returning cast, we are introducing a host of new characters who will become integral to the fourth and fifth season of the show.” Source
