Episode Summary: Coach discusses recruitment regulations. The Lions take a road trip. East Dillon’s four stars make a pact. Julie’s relationship becomes more complicated.

• The episode title refers to “Kingdom, Texas” where the Lions are playing an away game against the South King Rangers. It’s 250 miles Southeast of Dillon, and results in the team spending the night in a hotel.
• The South King Rangers are the team that the Lions forfeit to in the first game of season 4. Coach Taylor is obviously worried about revenge schemes.
• A recruiter from TMU shows up to practice to court Luke (and in secret Vince).
• Vince’s dad goes to the game in Kingdom. (It seems this will be his first appearance of the season).
• Buddy Jr. complains to Buddy Sr. about the Lions hazing him.
• Luke and Vince are roommates for the trip to Kingdom.
• Tami and Laurel get together for dinner while Coach Taylor is away and Julie is at school.
• The bus breaks down on the way to Kingdom.
